Objectives

To fulfill its mission, SABC has formulated the following aims and objectives:
1. To build and strengthen Christian character and commitment, by emphasizing personal and community spiritual disciplines essential to the educational process.
2. To provide Christ-centred, biblically – oriented graduate studies, designed to enrich students with a well thought out faith which will speak with integrity to our present pluralistic society.
3. To impart social attitudes and skills that will enable students to understand and relate effectively in a multi-faceted community.
4. To motivate and train students to advance the growth and mission of the church, by providing regular and meaningful ministerial opportunities.
5. To provide and facilitate activities for the physical well being of the student as an integral part of our interest in the development of the whole person.


U.G and P.G. Programmes


Master of Divinity (M.Div.) – This is a three-year degree programme designed for graduates of recognised Universities.
Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) – This is a three year degree programme designed for those who have successfully completed their pre-university studies.
Diploma in Christian Ministry (D.C.M.) – This is a one-year diploma programme designed for mature candidates involved in Christian ministry.
Master of Divinity Integrative (M.Div. Int.) – This is an upgrade programme for those who have completed Bachelor of Theology degree from accredited/affiliated colleges. The programme is of two years duration and includes two residential modules and four distance-learning modules.



Doctor of Ministry program

Program Overview

The Doctor of Ministry program is a professional degree intended for women and men who are actively engaged in full-time Christian ministry. The primary purpose of the program is to enhance the participants’ professional competence in the particular area of their gifts and calling. The program aims to be practical in nature while at the same time is committed to maintaining high academic standards and providing a sound biblical and theological base for the practice of ministry.
