At SABC, we believe that financial need should not keep any deserving and qualified candidate from applying for admission and studying at SABC. We do our utmost to provide substantial financial subsidy, work scholarships and scholarship awards to needy students to help them meet their financial obligations.
All students enjoy upto 30% of financial subsidy.
Students with proven financial need, who are willing to work and support themselves, may apply to the work-study programme to help lighten their financial burden. Last year SABC gave more than Rs. 20 lakhs towards work-study programme to help more than 140 students . The number of hours a student may be permitted to work depends on their academic load as well as their academic performance.
Students on the Work-Study programme are assigned no more than 15 hours of work per week.
Thanks to our partners and alumni, each year we are able to offer a number of scholarship awards to students. These awards are decided by the Scholarship Committee on the basis of merit, proven financial need and other criteria specific to each scholarship grant. Last year, CGLD offered more than 125 scholarship awards of each up to Rs. 20,000 per annum. Scholarship awards are usually applied towards the financial requirements of the students.
New students may also apply for a scholarship. Please do not hesitate to talk to the Admissions office.
